Creation of Web Learning Materials for an MSc in Power Electonics

| Abstract |
The Universities of Birmingham, Nottingham and Newcastle are developing on line distance learning
materials, for an MSc in Power Electronics and Drives, to support part time students based in industry.
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (ESPRC) funds the project. The paper
details the development of the project from inception to production of first phase materials and
outlines details of how the programme will be run by the three Universities. Results of the preliminary
evaluation of course material are presented. |
