Abstract |
This paper discusses our experience with introduction of computer-based teaching techniques in the
Electrical Machines’ laboratory. The problems of laboratory work using traditional methods are
reported. An alternative teaching method that introduces computer and information science as well as
automated control systems to the educational procedure is going to be discussed. Moreover, the
implementation of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System, as an educational
tool for the automation of laboratory exercises performance, is presented. |
