Passing the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test presents a significant challenge for many new devices. Thus, numerous techniques have been developed to reduce the electromagnetic emissions (EME). Software based approaches are quite popular, because they do not need any additional hardware, potentially reducing the number of components. The proposed angle modulated switching strategy (AMSS) allows reducing the size of the EMC filter while decreasing the radiated emissions in a wide frequency range. As a result, costs are decreased and reliability is increased. |
