| Abstract |
The aim of this paper is to insert the ultracapacitors into an electric vehicle. Ultracapacitors are
intended to drive electric motors when overloaded. They also recover energy coming from motors
during an electric braking. Finally, they are charged starting from the vehicle DC bus. A DC/DC
converter able to carry out the above functions and based on the boost/buck topology has been
proposed. |
