| Abstract |
The paper deals with an analysis of a symmetrical reactive power compensator containing a short circuit three-phase thyristor bridge fed by a transformer with a high short circuit voltage and a battery capacitors connected parallel. A special attention is paid to the harmonic analysis of compensator currents. There is presented the principle of selection of power of its components thanks to which the size of the installation could be minimized. |
