| Abstract |
The problems of harmonic effects generated by AC-AC converters directly connected to the mains have been clearly set by several authors. This paper deals with harmonic elimination in single phase AC-AC converter with interest in load and source currents. The first part of the paper presents the computation method based on optimum determination of switching angles to minimize the selected harmonics. This technique is presented for several switching patterns in term of displacement factor and distorsion factor. The last part of the paper is dedicated to hardware implementation of the proposed technique with comparison between simulation and measurement. |
