Abstract |
lt is presented a simple way for synthesizing a robust position controller for DC drives. The method uses the input-output linearization technic to achieve a more adequate representation for the system. The robustness is assured by the use of sliding mode operation. However, there are some implementation problems that constrains the system performance. Some of these problems are identified and guidelines for solution are indicated. |
