Abstract |
Digital simulation can be efficiently used for defect detection and diagnosis in an electromechanical system. Here, the goal is to detect faults in the behaviour of a four quadrants chopper supplying a DC motor. A reference model is built as close to the real system as possible. Both reference model and average corresponding model are simulated simultaneously. The diagnosis will be based on the difference between the results of the two models. Thanks to the use of an adaptable integration step in the simulation, the accuracy of the reference model will be improved as well as the calculation time. |
