| Abstract |
With the increasing demands on the power quality as experienced by sensitive customers, the interest
for so called Custom Power devices has increased significantly during recent years. This contribution
presents the design and control of a pure semiconductor based Current Limiting Device (CLD), which
can be controlled not only to limit but also actively control fault currents in order to reduce the
influence of faults in distribution networks. |
