Abstract |
To the problem of harmonics in the inverter output of Magneto Hydro Dynamic (MHD) power generation system, the paper discussed some essential methods which use active filters to compensate the harmonic current in the power network. Having analysed the characteristic of the passive and active filters in the form of voltage source and current source, the paper thoroughly discussed a lot of constructions of the instantaneous harmonic current compensating system. At last, the paper introduced an experimental direct compensating active filter with voltage source as well as the experiment result. |
