Abstract |
There is a growing need for the use of circuit simulation programs in power electronics education. This paper considers this need and the difficulties that must be overcome in order to use simulation programs in an educational setting. The strengths and weaknesses of several simulation programs are considered from an educational use viewpoint. A novel approach to the use of simulation in power electronics courses is suggested by means of examples. |
