Abstract |
In the present paper the chattering reduction problem is faced for a position Sliding-control of a Permanent Magnet (PM) motor drive, in which a sliding trajectory composed of three segments is used to ensure fully Sliding-Mode controlled transients, and a method is proposed to achieve a low chattering with a good robustness by using a combination of an hysteresis Sliding-mode control and an adaptive speed control. An experimental prototype is presented which consists of a current controlled PWM inverter, an interior PM motor, and the Sliding-Mode speed and position control digitally implemented on a DSP. |
