| Abstract |
Variable Structure Control (VSC) laws for multi-input systems are studied for controlling electronic converters. Each switch in the converter is considered as an input, so converters with several switches can be dealt with. VSC control laws yield fast responses and a robust behaviour against large parameter variations. To incorporate the effects of the different switches on each other, the hierarchy of control method is used. The proposed control method is applied in designing an appropriate controller for a switching power converter. |
