   Isolated Bidirectional Boost Full Bridge DC-DC Converter for Energy Storage Systems   [View]

 Abstract   Due to the increasing demands of safe and efficient renewable energy systems, isolated dc-dc converters became widely used as the essential power conversion blocks. At the same time, such converters are demanded for wide operation voltage range and fault tolerance as desirable features. This paper proposes an isolated bidirectional boost full bridge dc-dc converter which features high efficiency and stable operation along 100 percent load change with a set of active voltage clamping snubber and active start-up circuits. To verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme, the converter is prototyped and tested experimentally in the output power up to 10 kW.
