| Abstract |
Errors of the high-frequency compensation circulating current are originally investigated for modular multilevel converters (MMCs) in low speed drive operation. The results reveal these errors causing serious energy unbalance in the MMC arms, resulting in a large submodule voltage fluctuation and unstable drive operation. A remedy approach is proposed to minimize the error effects. |
