| Abstract |
A new concept of the intelligent power module is presented in the paper. The power module is a switched mode voltage converter which function can be easy programmed to obtain required direction of energy flow and parameters to be stabilised. If more energy conversion is required, modules can be connected and information between them can be interchanged via serial interface. The modules are designed for different voltage and current capabilities, thus forming a family of efficient converters enables to change one voltage waveform to any other required. |
