Abstract |
This paper deals with simultaneous compensation of harmonic currents and fundamental reactive power by a voltage single-phase active filter. A simple method which allows to separate the fundamental component of load current into its harmonic components is proposed. The modelling of the active filter parameters, the regulation of the harmonic currents and the capacitor dc voltage are also discussed. Experimental results of the system steady-state and transient performances, and the ability to reduce the distorsion due to the current harmonic components are presented. |
