Abstract |
In the Series-Resonant Converter operating at frequencies above resonance, the capacitive snubbers lead to a commutation failure as the converter approaches no-load oparation. This paper is intended to demonstrate that a significant improvement of this situation is expected by using nonlinear ceramic capacitors as snubbers instead of linear ones. This is done through analytical, simulation and experimental results. |
