| Abstract |
The paper proposes a new configuration for a resonant converter with pulse amplitude modulation. The converter operates with soft switching. The pulse amplitude modulation is an alternative method to the pulse width modulation and allows to construct practically (limitations are discussed in the paper) any shape of current wave form, accordingly to a reference signal. The new converter is investigated by measurements in a 20kVA experimental model. |
