| Abstract |
The most diffuse approach for providing high output voltages of a PWM inverter using carrier modulated techniques is to overmodulate the PWM waveform. In the paper we present a particular modulation strategy with reference to M>1 and for low frequency ratios R and use it together with suboptimal modulation to cover all the operative range of the inverter. The analytic form of the new modulating waveforms is found by use of a least squares approximation. |
