Abstract |
Hard switching PWM inverter drives cause high duldt stress at the motor windings and asymmetrical HF interference currents (EMI). Both problems can be overcome by inserting additional LC filters between motor and inverter. It is investigated how the filter has to be designed for providing sinusoidal motor voltages. The additional currents caused by the filter are determined. Apart from simulations, experimental results are presented. |
