Abstract |
This paper describes a discrete-time state-space model for simulating any switched converter, in which switches are modeled as discrete-time systems. The formulation requires no previous knowledge of the circuit operation and it is valid for all operating conditions. Some classical modeling methods for power converters are derived from the formulation presented here. A simulation of a dc-dc converter illustrates the model. |
