| Abstract |
The four-quadrant converter is widely used as line-side converter for AC-Iocomotives . To prevent interference with signalling equipment, its control has to make sure that certain narrow band hannonics in the line current do not exceed specific limits. The paper presents two different approaches to actively reduce those narrow band harmonics. Also details for designing the appropriate controllers are given. |
