Abstract |
In this paper, Finite Control Set Model Predictive Control (FCS-MPC) is used to select the optimal switching sequence when synthesizing a reference space vector for a Three-Level Neutral Point Clamped inverter. The cost function is designed to ensure the selection of a switching sequence which balances the neutral point and keeps switching losses low. Simulations and experimental results prove the performance of the method. |
