| Abstract |
This paper addresses the development of electro-thermal models able to accurately predict the thermalbehaviour of power modules in AC drives. The model would be implemented in the digital signalprocessor used to control the drive, operating therefore on line. FEM will be used for the design andcalibration of the models. The performance of the proposed methods will be validated experimentally. |
