| Abstract |
This paper provides conclusions on design and laboratory tests of a hybrid recti_er prototype whichemploys the newest generation of SiC transistors and diodes. For the presented hardware prototype theAC-DC ef_ciency is about 98\%. Based on simulation analysis and the practical realization pros and consof this topology were identi_ed. It should be noted that hybrid recti_ers importance is growing becauseof their unique features such as: its natural short circuit robustness and protection therefore a dead timeis not needed. Moreover, these features are available with a relatively simple control method. |
