| Abstract |
Use of a triport technique for a UPS of a low VA rating could have its own merits due to easy isolation, simplicity of inverter and other characteristics. In the past, use of a series bipolar power transistor array for AC line voltage regulation has been discussed and the triport configuration of a low VA rating UPS could benefit from this AC regulation technique. Article outlines the design approach and the experimental results achieved in designing such a prototype system of 150 VA rating. |
