Abstract |
This paper describes the use of a generalised dynamic magnetic core circuit model for both low and high frequency applications. The behaviour of magnetic cores with any arbitrary flux waveforms is modelled by a simple ladder network consisting of nonlinear
inductors and resistors. The non-linear B-H loop and the hysteresis loss are
incorporated in distributed non-ideal inductors, and calculated by the Preisach scalar model of hysteresis. The generalised model has been verified by simulations and measurments at both low and high-frequency operations. |
