| Abstract |
Real and reactive power flow in a transmission line can be regulated by a Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC). In this paper a UPFC system is modelled, a new control strategy
based on the synchronous rotating reference frame is proposed and the simulation and experimental results for the series converter of the UPFC are presented. When compared with
previously reported control methods, the new control strategy has an improved dynamic response. |
