Abstract |
High current low voltage power supplies are used in several production processes, particularly in heating technology. Various structures in the range of 100 kW to a few MW are
studied. The main objectives are to limit harmonic pollution and to improve the input power factor of the power supply. A comparative evaluation of its low frequency Electro Magnetic Compatibility
(EMC), speed of control and the ratings of power electronic components enables an estimation of the best topology for a given application. |
