| Abstract |
Water cooled three-level power modules with 4 kA-GTOs for application
in voltage source static frequency converters have been developed. These modules, their internal circuitry, cooling system and their electrical arrangement
for the static frequency converter Muldenstein are described. Attention· is
given to the choise of the GTO-thyristor and the realisation of the snubber
circuits respecting the three-level technique. Results of measurements on GTO modules and on a three-phase converter are presented in this paper. |
