Abstract |
It is proposed to omit the transformer in inverters for grid connected photovoltaic
systems in order to reduce losses, costs and size. With respect to the level of the dc-voltage and the leakage current, 3-phase CSI and VSI and 1-phase three level VSI are discussed in more detail. The leakage current is reduced greatly by novel control methods and additional passive components. Adaptive control according to varying environmental influences leads to improved systems behavior. |
