| Abstract |
An advanced motor model for vector controlled induction motors is proposed in which saturation and skin effect are included. The practical implementation of the model in a 7 .5 kW, DSP-based drive is described. The model is verified by comparing the measured transient torque produced by the motor when operating with controllers based on a
traditional model and the advanced model. |
