| Abstract |
Advanced series compensation allows to continously modify the equivalent reactance of ties-lines between
interconnected areas. This paper is dealing with modelling and simulation of Flexible Alternate Current Transmission Systems using well known softwares. The benefits of ASC are investigated in order to allow a secure control of energy interchange under emergency conditions. Different control techniques are proposed to achieve this task. |
