| Abstract |
With the double star circuit configuration a direct inverter off 3000 V dc line is realized without intermediate power conversion. It consists of standard 2-level converter modules which can be regrouped for all major line voltages, e. g. in multisystem traction vehicles.
The overall system and operational advantages are presented and compared to conventional concepts. |
