| Abstract |
This paper describes a generalised switch model and a link model based on the companion models. The switch model enables a switching circuit to be modelled by a constant admittance matrix irrespective of its switching state. This feature allows a system with changing topology to be modelled efficiently and elegantly by one set of
model equation, and a reduction of circuit formulation and computing time. The link model enables a large circuit to be decoupled into many small sub-circuits for easy circuit formulation and fast simulation. Simulation and experimental results confirm the
validity of the companion switch and link models. |
