| Abstract |
In this paper, the thermal resistance of planar magnetic components in natural convection is studied in order to obtain analytical formula taking into account effects of ambient temperature as well as power dissipated inside the component. The analytical model is deduced from Computational Fluid Dynamic simulations and is validated with thermal measurements on a transformer prototype. |
