Abstract |
The motor speed of an induction machine can be accurately estimated by utilizing speed-dependent harmonics in the stator current. This paper presents a PLL-based approach to identify one of these harmonics and reduce bandwidth-limiting filtering operations. Experimental results show the ability for tracking dynamic speed transitions. |
