Abstract |
This paper describes a generalised mathematical model which can be used to model fully pitched or short pitched switched reluctance drive systems. Both nonlinear and mutual inductance effects are fully incorporated whereby extensive use is made of
bivariate splines to model the magnetisation characteristics of the motor. Experimental verification of the new method is presented. |
