Abstract |
Both doubly-salient vanriable reluctance (DSVR) and permanent-magnet (DSPM) actuators are the focus of intensive research efforts during the past decade, and their torque production, design features and control characteristics have been well explored. This paper deals with a comparative study of doubly-salient variable reluctance (DSVR) and permanent-magnet (DSPM) actuators based on the magnetic flux distribution and equivalent circuit for static performance prediction. |
