Abstract |
A slip control strategy of the induction motors(IM) has been proposed in the constant-power mode drives. It is originally discovered that constant-power drives can be realized by controlling the rotor slip of the induction motor, instead of the rotor slip speed, widely adopted in the traditional
constant-torque control. A scalar-decoupled control scheme linearizes the control of the electromagnetic
power by setting up a decoupling network in the stator in the constant-power operation. The simulation and experimental results are also shown in this paper. |
