Analogous circuits for lossy piezoelectric ceramics

| Abstract |
This paper presents an innovative 1D model of piezoelectric ceramics, through the
example of a thickness-mode piezoelectric disc. This model is dedicated to simulation of piezoelectric
transducers. A special attention has been payed to the modelling of losses. Different frequency
representations of mechanical losses have been compared using PSpice simulation tool, showing a
good agreement with experimental results. |
