| Abstract |
A novel transducer system for traction converters is introduced. The new concept takes full advantage of digital signal processing and the existing hardware of modern traction drive systems. It features direct measurement of voltages and of currents using a specially developed
coaxial shunt, direct AID-conversion via a multi-bit-cr/o-converter implemented in an ASIC, and digital signal transmission including a new data compression method. |
