Abstract |
The simulation of a Stand-alone Synchronous Generator for Pulsed Power Supply is described. The transient behavior is simulated using a coupled winding model. The model parameters are calculated using 2d finite elements. Saturation is included by describing the
inductances in the model as functions of the flux linked with the corresponding phase. The simulations discuss the influence of saturation on the short-circuit behavior and on the generator load angle. Simulations with and without inclusion of the damper windings are
discussed. |
