| Abstract |
Modem electronic power sources for arc welding are mostly based on tl1e inverter principle. The increase of
switching frequency to about I 00 kHz is desirable for further improvement of control capabilities and to reduce
dimensions and weight and can only be reached sufficiently with soft switched semiconductors. A new control method has been developed for the ZVZCS - PS - FB - converter considering the specific static and dynamic load conditions of arc welding. Simulation results and experimental verification give good operation conditions over the entire load
range. |
