Abstract |
This paper presents the analysis, simulation, experimental characterization and design optimization of a full-bridge zero-voltage-switched phase-shift (FB-ZVS-PS) de/de
converter with a secondary clamped inductor. This converter operates with a fixed frequency of 250kHz and with an output power of I kW. The converter uses a two windings inductor with
the secondary connected to the output by means of two clamping rectifier diodes. It is shown that by proper design of the inductor parameters (Lcm and ne), the efficiency, the ZVS range
and the effective duty-cycle can be optimized, without significant overall penalties. |
