Abstract |
The boost converter of a switched mode rectifier contains as an inherent feature capability to operate at wide input voltage range. Most often a rectifier with universal input voltage range is not economically viable solution when mainly used in a single voltage
environment. Switched mode rectifiers are commonly used to supply power for Telecom systems having extremely high reliability requirements. The number of occurrence of input supply interruptions can adversly affect the system reliability. The methods are studied and solution suggested by means of which the actual number of interruptions experienced by
Telecom system can be substantially reduced by utilizing boost converter capability in an economical wcy. |
