Abstract |
This paper addresses the realisation of high performance, high efficiency single phase DC/AC·inverter. Both two level and three level PWM are analysed to find the optimal modulation method for an H-bridge output stage. Together with both current and voltage feedback, certain advantages are obtained compared to conventional topologies. An audio power amplifier application is presented. A 200W/8ohm prototype has shown convincing performance with THD+N<0,1%, a 113dB dynamic range and ail efficiency approaching 90% at higher output powers. |
