| Abstract |
This paper describes specific low on-resistance VDMOS devices to be used as synchronous rectifiers in low output voltage DC/DC converters. The main topologies of DC/DC converters to generate a low output voltage for the new requirements of low power microelectronics technology are also described, obtaining the requirements for the low onresistance transistors. These power transistors have been designed and fabricated and their electrical performance on the DC/DC converters is also included. |
