Abstract |
Active power filters are becoming more and more the better approach for providing the reduction of the "harmonic pollution" produced by non linear loads. In the paper we propose a shunt active power filtering system based on a three phase PWM space vector inverter that allows us to obtain, by means of a fully digital processing control, line currents
with very low harmonic distortion together with the possibility of full control of fundamental current phase angle for the contemporaneous compensation of the reactive power. Simulation results show excellent compensation of both harmonic currents and reactive power. |
